Visit this home in Gulfport and experience the best that a family vacation has to offer! The house is beautifully furnished and has an incredible garden, and it’s just a short walk from the beach.
From the outside, Gulfport Getaway appears to be a cozy cottage, but you’ll be amazed by how much space is inside! As soon as you step through the door, you’ll feel right at home. The living room is warm and welcoming, with fawn-colored walls and soft cream furniture. Two couches and an oversized armchair offer lots of room for your family to gather around the flat-screen TV for an evening movie together. With central A/C, ceiling fans, and tile floors, you’ll be cool even on the sunniest Florida days.
Further inside, you’ll find a second living space that gives you additional room to relax. The two wicker loveseats are beachy and comfortable, sitting opposite a small glass-topped wicker table. There is also a plush futon where two extra guests could spend a comfortable evening. The overhead fan provides a gentle breeze, and the glass doors lead directly to the incredible garden and patio area.
Florida is perfect for outdoor living, and Gulfport Getaway makes it easy to be outside. The large paved patio is surrounded by greenery and nicely shaded by large trees. The glass-topped table surrounded by four chairs is the perfect place to enjoy a frosty drink on a warm afternoon. Turn on some music and treat yourself to a little garden party! You can recline on the lounger or walk around gathering fruit from the numerous trees around the property. Why not bring dinner outside for a bit of al fresco dining?
There is also a dining area indoors that is perfect for quick breakfasts or hearty family meals. A slate-topped round table is surrounded by four metal chairs whose soft tan cushions coordinate perfectly with the stone. A painted mural on the wall offers a tropical view while you eat, and a nearby dresser gives you a handy place to set up a buffet or a dessert table. The dining area is nestled conveniently between the kitchen and the second living area, so your family can spread through the home yet be in easy reach of one another.
The galley kitchen is bright and spacious. At Gulfport Getaway, you can heat up leftovers or prepare gourmet meals with ease! The full-size refrigerator and numerous cabinets give you lots of room to store supplies from the nearby grocery stores. There is a full complement of large and small appliances, such as a stove, microwave, blender, coffee pot, and toaster oven. With so much counter space, the kids can help you chop vegetables and spend time together before dinner. Clean-up is a snap after meals thanks to the convenient dishwasher.
When it’s time to unwind after a long and enjoyable day, head to the master suite. You will love relaxing in this spacious retreat! The rich wood furniture looks beautiful against the light tile and tan walls, and the décor is understated but elegant. You can unpack your suitcases into the two side tables or the large dresser. Treat yourself to your favorite television show from your queen-sized bed, thanks to your own flat-screen TV!
The master suite at Gulfport Getaway includes an attached bathroom that gives you a private oasis. The turquoise walls, cream finishes, and white and chrome accents look beachy and serene. You’ll love the giant corner shower! There is a wide mirror set atop a large vanity, along with a powder room where you’ll find plenty of space to get ready every morning. A walk-in closet allows you to hang up your clothes without worrying about suitcase wrinkles.
The second bedroom is perfect for children or two adults traveling together, with two twin beds and lots of space. The seashell comforters coordinate with the seafoam green walls and beach-themed décor, while the windows let in a lot of natural light. Wicker headboards and white furniture complete the beachy theme. The attached second bathroom has been recently renovated, with a beautiful cherry wood vanity and modern tiling around the large combination shower/bathtub. Your guests will appreciate the luxury of their own bathroom!
